With this claim to ourselves, we at Lichtgitter have opened a new chapter in 2020. Founded in 1929 as a traditional family business, Lichtgitter has evolved over the years: Our Group has grown, and we are now represented in 19 countries and different cultures. More than 1,600 people work for us. At the same time, global competition has become more intense and the challenges more diverse.

CULTURE CREATES THE BASIS FOR SUCCESS

We are adapting our corporate culture to these changes and creating the basis for Lichtgitter’s continued success as part of a broad-based transformation process launched at the parent company in 2020. The change process is to be successively carried further into the subsidiaries and thus deeper and deeper into the company.

In this way, we are moving from traditional structures to structured processes and a modern corporate culture – sustainability is an integral part of this. We measure our progress using clearly defined key figures as well as with the help of our annual employee survey.

Communication and culture

Appreciative communication based on partnership is a cornerstone of our culture. This also includes celebrating successes or events such as our family summer party.

Participation

Employee forums, a sounding board and annual employee surveys ensure a direct line between management and staff.

Working environment

New canteens and break rooms, additional lamps, fresh flooring - the environment also determines the quality of work, which is why we are constantly investing here.

Health

We specifically promote and protect the health of our employees through a wide range of occupational health management measures and investments in occupational safety.

Securing the next generation

Word gets around about good training opportunities and attractive working conditions. We have been able to significantly increase the number of applications and new trainees in recent years. Our trainee campaign was honored with the "German Brand Award 2024".

Responsible behavior

We have set out our values and principles of action in our Code of Conduct. Our aim is to act in an economically, socially and environmentally conscious manner towards all stakeholders.
