The Lichtgitter Group has been family-owned since it was founded in 1929 and sees itself as a family business because of its core values of loyalty, security and cohesion. We have agreed on a canon of values characterized by the image of the family company. The resulting Code of Conduct and the “Golden Rules” it contains bring together our important basic rules and principles, which are binding for us both today and in the future.
The Code of Conduct sets a standard for ourselves, but at the same time it is a promise to the outside world for responsible behavior towards business partners and the public, as well as in our dealings with each other within the company.
If we want to remain true to our values and rules, we cannot simply accept misconduct. That is why we have a digital whistleblower system available to employees, business partners and people associated with us, where violations can be reported anonymously and confidentially. The Lichtgitter Group is committed to protecting an honest whistleblower from any kind of influence and to investigating the reported violation with appropriate priority and sensitivity.
The Lichtgitter Group takes the basic values of good and responsible cooperation very seriously, and not just within its own company. We also expect compliance with human and environmental rights when working with our suppliers and business partners. Last but not least, we also bear legal responsibility for due diligence along our own supply chain under the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG).
