Forge-welded gratings can of course also be manufactured with round cross bars instead of twisted cross bars, if this is desired for visual reasons.
The round bars are pressed into the bearing bars under high pressure and fully welded.

Forge-welded gratings with round cross bars dispense with the conventional twisted cross bars, resulting in an overall smoother surface and slightly less slip resistance.
