Draht Müller GmbH & Co KG, based in Dülmen, has been part of the Lichtgitter Group since 23.08.2021 and further rounds off our range with its products.
Founded in 1931, the company has been in the Müller family for four generations and specializes in industrial spot-welded mesh for animal husbandry, cellar partitions, store fitting and many other applications.
Hermann Stengel, one of the managing directors of Lichtgitter GmbH, sees this step as an important milestone on the way to further expanding the market position of the Lichtgitter Group. “The inclusion of Draht Müller GmbH & Co KG in our group is a strategically sensible addition to our shareholdings in Germany and abroad. This will enable us to further consolidate and expand our position as a full-range supplier in the wire mesh segment for the shelving market, among others. We look forward to further developing the site in Dülmen together with the employees and management.
Draht Müller GmbH & Co KG operates several spot welding systems on its approx. 8,000 square meter site in Dülmen. 72 employees recently generated a turnover of around € 11 million. In addition to Mr. Lutz Schürmann, Mr. Dirk Brütsch, who is already a managing director in the Lichtgitter Group, will drive forward the further strategic orientation of the company.
