Lichtgitter employees

The Lichtgitter Group employs around 1,600 people worldwide, 500 of whom currently work at the Stadtlohn site. Our employees in Stadtlohn have been part of our team for an average of 16.4 years – a value that we are proud of and which we actively promote.

We implement targeted measures to maintain this long-term loyalty and attract new colleagues. New employees are given an intensive introduction to their tasks and our company through a structured onboarding program. We also attach great importance to training young talent – it is a central building block for sustainable corporate success.

We focus on the satisfaction and well-being of our employees. That is why we have an open feedback culture that is characterized by regular feedback meetings. In this way, we create a working environment that is characterized by appreciation, further development and strong cooperation.

The Lichtgitter Group has been a family business since it was founded in 1929 – and in a cultural sense too. Loyalty, security and cohesion characterize our daily actions and our self-image as an employer and partner.

Our canon of values, inspired by the image of a responsible family company, is expressed in our “Golden Rules”. These provide orientation in our dealings with one another – they stand for reliability, trust, respect, responsibility and professional competence. They are not just words, but lived practice.

HEALTH

The health of our employees and their long-term loyalty are of central importance to us. That is why we have established a comprehensive occupational health management (OHM) program at many locations. Depending on the location, this includes medical check-ups, exercise and nutrition courses, flu vaccinations, job bikes, ergonomic workstations and innovative measures such as the use of exoskeletons.

Since 2024, we have been thanking our employees at the Stadtlohn site who have been with the company for at least 10 years with employer-financed company health insurance. The longer employees stay with the company, the more services they receive – from subsidies for dentures, visual aids and naturopathic treatments to special hospital benefits, even outside of accidents.

In this way, we show our appreciation and at the same time strengthen the well-being and health of our workforce – today and in the future.
