GRP-stairtreads

Characteristics

The GRP-stairtreads consist of our GRP gratings to which a closed, sanded and black-colored GRP-angle or a black sanded GRP flat material is laminated. This is usually done with a 38 mm high GRP grating. The tread angle serves to reinforce the steps in the tread area, while the flat material only serves as a visible edge. On inquiry, GRP support brackets 75x75x8 mm for the steps with side holes are supplied as sideplates. These are connected to the steps using direct screwing.

Technical details

The steps must absorb the following loads at their nosing:

with a tread width of small 1200 mm – 1.50 kN single load distributed over an area of 100 x 100 mm at your nosing in the middle of the step.
for a running width greater than 1200 mm – 1.50 kN single load distributed over an area of 100×100 mm at intervals of 600 mm at the nosing.
the deflection between the supporting structure and the steps under load must not exceed 1/300 of the span, max. 6.00 mm.

Orthophal resin: medium chemical resistance

Isophtalic resin: good chemical resistance

Vinylester resin: very good chemical resistance
