In addition to the well-known industrial applications, there are many other areas of use for GRP gratings. The properties can be adapted to the intended use by selecting the appropriate resins or additives. Special resins are used for gratings in the food sector, for example, and additives are added to conductive gratings in order to realize the dissipation, as GRP gratings are actually electrically insulating.
In the architectural sector, translucent and transparent GRP gratings are used, among other things. Colored Gratings are also frequently used as railing infills or facade coverings.
